Chris and Chelsea's Big Day
Chelsea and Chris decided on a simple yet meaningful courthouse wedding at the main courthouse in Palm Beach County, and let me tell you— it was the perfect day! The courthouse itself offers more than just the traditional ceremony space; it’s surrounded by beautiful areas that are ideal for couples looking for a courthouse wedding but still wanting to capture stunning wedding photos. It’s the best of both worlds— an intimate, no-frills ceremony with a backdrop that makes for gorgeous memories.
One of the things I absolutely love about photographing courthouse weddings (whether it's a full wedding day, an elopement, or a courthouse ceremony) is that I approach every moment with the same level of attention and care. Every couple deserves to have all their memories captured— the small, quiet moments, as well as the big ones. With a courthouse wedding, the ceremony is often short and sweet, but that gives us even more time to create something special outside the ceremony itself. I’m there to document everything— from candid smiles to intimate poses, the laughter to the quiet, tender moments shared between the couple.
What’s great about courthouse weddings is that they still allow for all the little details you’d expect from a traditional wedding day. The joy, the excitement, the love— I make sure to capture it all. So even though you might be skipping the grand venue or the long guest list, opting for a courthouse ceremony doesn’t mean you’re not going to get a full, beautiful wedding gallery from me. It’s quite the opposite, actually! I’m able to dedicate more time to focusing on your love story and the personal moments that really matter.
Whether it’s sneaking away for a few portraits in the surrounding gardens or finding little pockets of light that make your photos glow, courthouse weddings have so much potential for beauty and emotional depth. I want every couple to feel like they’ve gotten the full wedding experience, no matter how simple the celebration. After all, it’s about capturing the essence of your day— the joy, the commitment, and the love between two people starting their forever together. And that’s what matters most.
